About the Role:

Nintex Process Discovery is a key part of the evolution of the Nintex Process Intelligence by offering customers the ability to discover business processes within their organizations that are either hidden or not fully understood. Nintex Process Discovery utilizes a combination of advanced AI and ML to visually see what actions an end user takes during their day-to-day operations and, compare those against other similar analyzed processes and then not only decipher a business process from the data but also surface potential automation recommendations utilizing the different automation offerings within the broader Nintex portfolio.

Process discovery is an emerging offering within the broader automation space and the Nintex Process Discovery Product Manager can help define this market by identifying and assessing opportunities, developing product strategies that resonate with customers worldwide, and laying out roadmap and release plans to position products as competitive and desirable.

This role is expected to have a deep understanding of the customers’ needs and desires, evangelize that perspective, and then partner with development teams to ship products globally, on time and on budget. Likewise, this role also envisions and validates distinctive capabilities and value propositions that meet customer needs and ensures that the product meets and exceeds the customer expectations.

This position is part of the product management team, accountable for new market development, product differentiation, customer adoption and satisfaction, competitive share leadership, as well as sales growth, profitability, and shareholder value. The position works closely with the product marketing managers as well as teams in R&D, support, and marketing.


Your contribution will be:

Envision and validate product roadmap and release functional plans

  • Identify define new markets, customer segments, solution gaps and user need via market and user research and leveraging of internal and external partners
  • Voice customer needs & minimum marketable features, based on expertise, research and customer interaction
  • Work closely with R&D delivery leads, assisting in analysis & prioritization of backlogs, writing user stories, functionality, UX and upgradability
  • Validate approaches via roundtables, UserVoice, Nintex community, betas, analyst inquiries and advisory councils (ad-hoc or ongoing)
  • Recommend 'in-product' features to gather usage insight and to promote cross-selling and up-selling
  • Determine opportunities and needs to work with Technology Partner to complement and enhance
  • Ignite product knowledge dissemination and documentation availability
  • Work with the User Assistance team to ensure quality and relevance of timely documentation (evaluation guides, tutorials, help files, install guides, release notes, EULAs, etc.)
  • Expertise in using analytics to assess product performance, issues and develop testing plans
  • Run milestone programs for technical previews, betas, evaluation guidance and early adoption
  • Disseminate product knowledge to product marketers, sales, partners technical pre-sales and support teams
  • Demo to excite internal and selected NDA audiences at relevant release milestones; and speak in user group and events
  • Coordinate release and post-release logistics
  • Verify how feature triage decisions map to release plan, customer needs and launch timing trade-offs
  • Verify user experience with downloads, hosted trials, SKU creation in internal systems and installation
  • Ensure branding guidelines are reflected within product and user interfaces
  • Recommend localization plans based on priority markets and languages
  • Ensure marketing collateral is accurate and highlights the envisioned key investments
  • Interface with support for trend analysis, training, and content
  • Train support and sales team at relevant release milestones
  • Provide product oversight for technical FAQs and papers, as well as best practices guidance for deployments, upgrade, and administration
  • Study trends in support issues across the product lifecycle
  • Set communication strategy for hot fixes and service packs
  • Identify questions and topics in community site or 'answer desk' that require answers from product management
  • Analyze competitors' functionality and roadmap
  • Co-author competitive battle cards and Summarize feature teardown
  • Attempt means to use competitors' products and demo to sales teams

  • Strong UX for gallery and technical understanding for Application Life Management
  • Experience in customer migration initiatives
  • Technical understanding of web-based solutions and data analysis aptitude
